Who we are

TattooAtlas ("we") operates tattooatlas.org, a family of hand-curated tattoo artist directories. Contact: [email protected].

Data we collect from visitors

tattooatlas.org is a static website. We set no advertising or analytics cookies and run no trackers. The only thing stored in your browser is a single preference (your light or dark theme choice), kept locally on your device and never transmitted to us. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard server logs, such as IP address and user agent, to serve and protect the site.

Listed artists

Artist listings are compiled from publicly available professional information: public portfolio work, professional name and handle, city, and follower count. We list working artists the way a magazine or guidebook would, to send clients their way. We never sell artist data, never charge clients to view listings, and take no commission from artists.

Corrections and removal: email [email protected] from your artist account or contact us by direct message, and we will correct or remove your listing promptly, no questions asked.

If you claim your profile

Claiming uses your email address solely to verify your identity and hand over the page. We do not use it for marketing without your consent, and we do not share it.

Pinterest application and social accounts

Our Pinterest application ("TattooAtlas Publisher") publishes our own editorial content, such as directory cards, artist rankings, maps, and guides, to our own Pinterest business account only. It does not collect, store, or process personal data from any Pinterest user. It does not access other users' accounts, boards, or pins. Data accessed through the Pinterest API is limited to our own account's content and performance metrics, used solely to manage our own publishing. Artist work is only featured with the artist's consent and with credit and a link back to the artist.

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties. Service providers we rely on to operate the site (hosting and email) process data only on our behalf.
