TattooAtlas is a family of tattoo artist directories, organized by style and kept by hand. It exists because finding the right artist for a specific style is still absurdly hard: social feeds optimize for attention, not for answering the question you actually have.

Every atlas is curated by a working tattoo artist, not an algorithm. Every style call is made by hand and by eye, one artist at a time.

How an atlas is made

1. Harvest. Public work is gathered with its evidence kept: source, date, and place. Nothing enters the atlas without a record of where it came from.
2. Verify. A working tattooer reviews every artist. Style calls are made by hand and by eye. Every call is made by hand and by eye, one artist at a time.
3. Publish. Only verified artists get pages. Every image is described, every page structured, so clients can find the right artist and every page tells the truth.

What we will not do

We take nothing from artists: no commission, no markup, no gate between you and them. We do not repost artists' work to social feeds without consent. We honor removal requests promptly. The directory earns trust or it is worthless.
